Just as water runs through the pipes of a house, plumbing runs through the veins of Central Coast Plumbing Services (CCPS) owner and proprietor Michael De Leon. He is a third-generation contractor, beginning with his grandfathers construction company that handled water, sewer and storm drain infrastructure throughout San Diego and Los Angeles.

After learning the ropes working with both his grandfather and father, Michael took a hiatus to do extensive traveling and soul searching. This journey led him to San Luis Obispo county, and thus began his solo career in the plumbing industry with Mankins Plumbing. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 409 (since changed to 403) Union, and handled large-scale residential and commercial projects throughout the county, including the dorms at Cal Poly, the County Government Center, the Cartlon Hotel and the Paso Robles Inn, to name but a few.

Michael then transitioned to TIC/KIEWITT and was involved with major infrastructure such as the ACRA Energy project at Shell Oil's Ventura Canyon facility. He also spent two years at the Price Canyon Oil facility for the PXP Plains Exploration & Production Company working as lead of the underground pipefitting outfit.

All of that experience finally led Michael to venture out and start his own business, CCPS. Along with his team, Michael is passionate about both his trade and supporting the community. CCPS has worked extensively with both public and private clients around the county, helping them to find their flow.
